A history of Furzey Gardens Friday 8th November, 1pm Enjoy a light lunch followed by a talk highlighting the fascinating history of how Furzey Gardens came into existence almost 100 years ago. From a plot of land bought by Bay Dalymple in 1921, it was over the years filled with rare and exotic rhododendrons and azaleas, brought back from far-flung places by the pioneering plant hunters of the age. Tickets £12 (£10 for RHS/Members) - includes a light lunch of soup or jacket potato with a choice of fillings and a hot drink. Arrive for lunch from 1pm for a 2pm talk.
