Graham Waters After retiring from Ordnance Survey, I wanted a complete change so I volunteered to work at Furzey Gardens from 2010. I really enjoy working with the students and maintain my role as a volunteer. Later I was asked to become a trustee for Furzey Gardens, then following the proposed merger of the Minstead Training Trust and Furzey Gardens I was fortunate enough to be invited to become a trustee there too. I am maintaining my special interest in representing Furzey Gardens as a place where students can interact with the public allowing them to broaden their horizons. Since 2014 I have worked with Age UK, seconded to the Care Quality Commission, inspecting care homes. This work keeps me up to date with the latest quality guidance the CQC expect.
