‘As an enthusiastic volunteer and Trustee at Furzey Gardens my experience of working with the people Minstead Trust supports was first hand so when I was asked if I would like to continue as a Trustee when the two charities merged, I was delighted to accept’.
Graham joined Furzey Gardens as a volunteer in 2011 and found that he enjoyed working with people who have learning difficulties. From them and the support team he learnt about support and funding issues and wanted to do something to constructively help.
He spent his working life as a cartographer then transferred into IT and then into business continuity planning. He currently works on occasions with the Care Quality Commission inspecting care homes.
