Jeanette Adamson

Jeanette is FCCA qualified, has worked within the not for profit and charity sector for 17 years.

She joined Minstead trust in April 2021 as an Interim Finance Director, before accepting a permanent position of Director of Finance in August 2021.

Jeanette started her career within large corporates, before choosing to continue her career within the smaller charitable and not for profit sector. She worked in a number of roles before becoming a Building Project Accountant, delivering on school and church projects within the North West.

She moved to Hampshire 9 years ago and ventured into an entrepreneurial IT company for a few years before following her heart and moving back into the not for profit sector. This was her first experience within Social Care and led to moving into a more supportive role, whilst continuing the development of her finance career within another charity sector. After helping support the seafaring industry as an financial controller for over four years, the opportunity arose to combine her skillset with her heart again.

She has volunteered with disadvantaged teenagers for a number of years prior to COVID-19 and has more recently taken a position as school Governor for a local primary school.
