Furzey Gardens is a beautiful, tranquil woodland garden nestled in the heart of the New Forest and is open to the public from March to October. Run as a social enterprise, it is a key part of the Minstead Trust family which supports over 200 adults with learning disabilities. Horticulture is known to offer real benefits through outdoor, physical and therapeutic activity, providing important opportunities to improve work and social skills as well as general health and wellbeing.
Volunteers provide an integral role in keeping Furzey Gardens open to the public, whether it is maintaining garden spaces and assisting the gardening team or helping with our visitor experience. Come and join our happy team and enjoy all that Furzey has to offer whilst knowing that you are making a significant and positive contribution to our Minstead Trust and Furzey community!
