  • Madeleine Durie, CEO

    Madeleine Durie, CEO Minstead Trust

    Madeleine joined Minstead Trust in December 2012 following a career as a Senior Civil Servant in the Department for Business Innovation and Skills and Department for Education leading on the development of adult training policy and Apprenticeships including a secondment to the Skills Funding Agency and Director of Policy and Funding at the National Apprenticeship Service.  Madeleine has an MBA from Henley Management College and has recently completed a Diploma in Charity Management from St Marys University London.  She is Chair of the New Forest (yellow) Local Implementation Group which reports to the Hampshire Learning Disability Partnership Board.

  • Travis Musselwhite, Director of Care

    Travis Musslewhite, Head of Care

    Travis has been Head of Care and Support at Minstead Trust since August 2015.  He has held a number of care roles including Registered Manager, Regional Lead Trainer and Senior Care Manager supporting multiple services/schools and children’s homes.   Travis has also worked as a training consultant specialising in safeguarding; TeamTeach, Autism awareness and preparations for CQC and Ofsted Inspections.  Travis holds a range of Care qualifications including Diploma in Health and Social Care; NSPCC Trainer in Safeguarding and Advanced Team Teach trainer.    Prior to working in the Care Sector, Travis was the Founder and Director of the Ocean Youth Trust South – a charity that provided sailing experiences for disadvantaged young people.

  • Dawn Wood, Director of Development

    Dawn Wood, Director of Development

    Dawn joined Minstead Trust in January 2015 and was appointed to the role of Head of Development in June 2015. Her role encompasses marketing, fundraising, strategy and new business development. Prior to joining Minstead Trust Dawn was a charity consultant, supporting national charities to develop good governance, create effective outcome monitoring and evaluation programmes and “living” strategic plans. This followed a time at Help the Aged, where Dawn was a Senior Manager in the Commerce and Corporate Fundraising Team. Dawn’s early career was in marketing, holding positions as a Buyer for The Boots Company and Marketing Manager for Ty-Phoo Teabags. Dawn is a member of the Institute of Fundraising.

  • Adam Dodd, Director of Finance and Central Services

    Adam Dodd, Director of Finance and Central Services

    Adam joined Minstead Trust in December 2016 as Director of Finance & Central Services, with responsibility for Finance, Human Resources, IT and Facilities. Despite spending the previous two years as a carer and volunteer, his background is in the commercial sector. Before coming to Minstead, Adam joined a private group of companies as a trainee and worked up through a number of operational and managerial roles to become Chief Operations Officer & Finance Director, working across many industries including television production and distribution, TV and film post-production, medical and educational communications, a video art gallery, boutique hotels, property development, property rentals, bars, restaurants, cafés, a private members club, and an educational non-profit. He has specialised in building organisational infrastructure to enable delivery of projects and products to some of the most recognizable companies in the world, including Discovery Channel, Harper Collins and GlaxoSmithKline.
