Role Purpose:

We are looking for a creative, motivated and versatile communication session leader to join our expanding day opportunities team in the New Forest.  Your role will be to plan and deliver outcomes-based activities for groups of adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to develop their skills and achieve their full potential for living independent lives as full citizens. You will give person-centred support, guidance, encouragement and training across a range of goals in health, well-being, life skills or work-based skills as appropriate and ensure that the personal, health and social care needs are met for the people we support within the vision, aims and policies of the Minstead Trust. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to take a lead in our growing communication sessions in a range of activities that could include: art, ceramics, craft and preparation of our student magazine and dance and drama sessions. You will also be expected to support the Head of Day Opportunities with administrative duties related to internal and external projects.
