Step Up for Work is a training programme available to people with learning disabilities who are self funding their support.

We offer you the opportunity to attend our workshops and learn work skills and etiquette to help you enter the workplace. You will gain the confidence, skills and workplace experience to be able to take the next step on the pathway to employment.

You will need:

  • Willingness to learn and work in a team
  • Ability to adapt to the priorities of the workplace
  • To be 18 years or over
  • To make a weekly commitment.

We will invite you to an assessment day to make sure that you are ready for this programme.

You will have opportunities to develop transferable workplace skills like time management, health and safety and following instructions.

We will support you to develop your C.V. and find your next step at the end of the course.
