We are looking for motivated and creative individual to join our Supported Living Team and make a real difference to individual lives.

About the Job:
Your primary role will be to Team lead staff supporting service users with their personal, social and health care needs as required including everyday tasks from shopping to taking medication. Successful candidates will be passionate about providing exceptional care to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, take pride in accurate record keeping, rotas, maintain data-bases, have organisational skills and be keen to progress a career in the Care Sector.

Duties include:

  • Interacting and communicating with the people you support in a way that promotes dignity and respect.
  • Supporting individuals with everyday tasks from cooking to personal care as required.
  • Working as a team leaders and as part of a team and also lone working with individual service users.
  • Working flexible shifts*

*Our services provide 24/7 support 365 days a year. The role includes working evenings, weekends, bank holidays on a rota pattern. We can only consider people who will commit to working these types of shifts.

About you:
We are seeking people who are: responsible, motivated, honest, approachable, good communicators and are committed to providing equal opportunities and quality support to vulnerable adults. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise your workload. It is also important that you are able to adapt well to change and meet tight deadlines whilst delivering a quality service.

Minimum requirements:

  • Caring and empathetic personality.
  • NVQ 3 or diploma in Health in Social Care and experience
  • Good standard of spoken and written English.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Understand the need for and maintain confidentiality.
  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
