This year Furzey Gardens is delighted to join the National Garden Scheme (NGS) for the first time. By becoming part of the NGS network we are helping to raise money for charities other than ourselves and as well as introducing Furzey Gardens to new visitors.
Furzey Gardens will be opening as part of the National Garden Scheme on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 May and Friday 27 and Saturday 28 October. All bookings for these days must go through the NGS website at the following link: https://findagarden.ngs.org.uk/garden/6181/furzey-gardens
All proceeds from the sale of tickets on 12 and 13 May and 27 and 28 October will go directly to the National Garden Scheme and the charities that it supports. You can find out more about the scheme and its beneficiaries here https://ngs.org.uk/who-we-are/beneficiaries/.
Supporting others is an important part of our philosophy at Furzey Gardens. As well as our own charitable work, we also like to support other charities where we can. Being part of the NGS scheme is an important way for us to do this.
What this means for members.
There will be no member tickets available on NGS open days. Any members wishing to visit the gardens on these days will need to purchase an NGS ticket through the NGS website, or on the gate at Furzey Gardens on the day.
We expect the gardens to be busy with visitors during these days, members may wish to visit us on an alternative day when they can book member tickets as normal.
We look forward to seeing you at the gardens again soon, if you have any questions email marketing@minsteadtrust.org.uk
