Garden sculpture trail

When: 18 Sep 2023 - 30 Oct 2023

Discover an exhibition of contemporary, handmade sculptures around the gardens. The creations from nine talented artist’s nestle against the backdrop of our beautiful gardens, for you to enjoy and inspire your own garden spaces.

This exhibition has been put together by FiveTwo to help artists promote their work and gardeners to find original and different ideas that do not cost the earth. The 9 different artists work in their own style and media with a common link, in that all the pieces are abstract but have a pleasing and comprehensible style.

Here is a collection of artists, some with extraordinary talent, but who remain unknown, despite their hard work and commitment.

Normal garden entrance donations apply, pre-book your visit.

Artists include:

Jim Milner from Yorkshire carves beautiful stone designs based on mathematical theorem

Karen Edwards from Somerset has a distinctive style with her wonderful ceramics

David Hemsley from Sussex works mainly in stainless steel with beautiful flowing lines

Joe Szabo originally from Hungary but now in Surrey brings colour and beauty with his glass work

Jon Allen from the USA designs brightly coloured cheerful ribbon sculptures in aluminium
