Join us for nature walks, pond dipping, bug hunting and more as we celebrate Furzey’s rich and varied nature.

You will be able to speak to experts and help us to record the range of nature in the gardens. There will also be a schedule of activities to take part in, including bird walks, pond dipping, insect sweeping and guided walks on the wild side.

Normal entry donations apply, book your garden ticket in advance to guarantee entry. Open 10am to 5pm.

Activities include:

  • Bird walk at 8am SOLD OUT
  • Drop in pond dipping and insect sweeping from 10am to 4pm
  • Moth trap opening at 10.30am
  • 3 x 45 minute Walks on the Wild Side through the day to introduce you to Furzey’s nature. 11am, 1pm, 3pm
  • Fascinating Trees of Furzey walks at 12pm and 2pm led by Head Gardener Pete
  • Butterfly Conservation on site with a stall
  • Spotters sheets for you to find your own sightings and report them back
