Role Description:

Volunteer Sewers needed!

Are you handy with a sewing machine? Do you enjoy turning small design ideas into beautiful, sellable items?

Our weaving studio produces stunning handwoven cloth, created by the talented individuals we support. Their skills have grown so much that we’re now struggling to keep up with transforming their work into finished products to sell!

Could you help? If you have a few hours a week to offer, either sewing in our studio or from home, we’d love to hear from you.

Our studio is based at: Minstead Lodge, Seaman’s Lane, Minstead, SO43 7FT (free parking on site)

About Minstead Trust:

Minstead Trust is a charity based in the New Forest and Portsmouth which offers a range of Supported Living, Residential Care, Day Opportunities, Community Programmes and Social Enterprises (including Furzey Gardens and Hanger Farm Arts Centre) to over 600 adults with learning disabilities. Supporting them and their families, we provide opportunities that encourage the people we support to develop greater independence. We do this through improved health and well-being, the development of life skills, and increasing employability.
