New day opportunities in Portsmouth

Minstead Trust has been awarded the contract to run a new Day Opportunities service in Cosham, on the outskirts of Portsmouth.  

From 1 April 2026, we will take on the service from the current provider. This means we will begin supporting over 40 people who currently attend, and the existing staff will become a valued part of our team. 

We are looking forward to properly meeting everyone who attends this service and getting to know their families. We can’t wait to show the impact that our unique values, expertise, and person‑centred approach can bring for those we support. 

This development is in addition to our thriving Warren Avenue Day Opportunities in Portsmouth, which remains a vital part of our offer as it approaches its 10th anniversary. 

In challenging financial times, growth is essential. It enables us to continue thriving as an organisation, protects us against rising operational costs, and ensures we can keep delivering the highest-quality support. Expanding our reach also means we can offer our values, expertise, and person‑centred approach to more people who can truly benefit from what makes Minstead Trust unique.
