Operated by Lily & Lime, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering people with learning disabilities, our café is a hub for great food, warm service, and meaningful connections.
Stop by Lily & Lime Café during your next trip to Portsmouth Central Library and experience the perfect blend of delicious food, friendly service, and community spirit. We’re open Tuesday-Friday 9:30am-3pm.

The View
Operated by Lily & Lime in partnership with Portsmouth City Council, The View is located within the Portsmouth City Council Civic Offices. The café offers a delightful selection of barista-made coffees, homemade cakes, light lunches, and healthy salads.
At The View, we are committed to providing exceptional service while making a positive social impact. As a social enterprise of Minstead Trust, we are dedicated to supporting individuals with neuro disabilities, offering crucial work training and employment opportunities within our café. By choosing to visit us, you are directly contributing to empowering individuals to develop valuable skills and gain meaningful employment.
Our café is open exclusively to council staff from:
Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 2.30pm
Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm.
