At Minstead Trust, we’re dedicated to removing barriers for neuro disabled people.

We aim to unlock opportunities that enrich lives, encourage independence, and foster well-being.

We explore the potential of every individual while championing their needs on a local and national level. We nurture and develop unique skills, supporting people towards employment.

And through our social enterprises, we’re helping to create communities where neuro disabled people can thrive.

Together, we’re creating a society where neuro disabled people aren’t just supported by the community—they’re supported to make profound contributions to it.

Each part of Minstead Trust works towards our vision and mission.

We do this in part through support services that help people to live in their own homes and to learn new skills in day opportunities. We also run Empowering Employment, which supports people to learn work skills and gain work experience that can lead to paid work.

Work experience opportunities are available across our social enterprises, which include Furzey Gardens, Hanger Farm, Lily & Lime, Real Jam & Chutney Company and Minstead Lodge conference and events venue.

We support more than 600 people along the south coast of England, from Poole to Portsmouth.

Our Vision: Every neuro disabled person can get the support they need to live life their way.

Who we are:

  • We appreciate each person. Everyone is different – we respect and celebrate this.

  • We’re always improving. Striving to give our best and to have more impact.
  • We push for change. We will challenge society to be fully inclusive.
  • We find the joy in everyday life. We have the freedom to be ourselves and enjoy what we do.
