Trust heads to Portsmouth Pride 2025

2 June 2025

Minstead Trust is proud to be attending Portsmouth Pride, taking place on Saturday 7 June 2025.

We will be there celebrating equality, visibility, and the right of every individual to live a fulfilling life, on their own terms.

As a charity breaking down barriers for people with learning disabilities, we believe in a society where everyone is included. Pride is a powerful moment to champion that belief. Our community thrives on individuality, and we’re excited to stand alongside so many others who are striving for a fairer, more inclusive world.

Come and find us in the Community Village. We’ll be there with information about our work, stories of positive change, and plenty of colour and creativity. We’ll also be sharing how we empower people with learning disabilities to develop skills, grow their confidence and find meaningful employment.

Luke, who is supported by Minstead Trust, said: ‘It feels good to attend Pride, I like seeing all the acts that they have on, looking around the stalls and I like going with Minstead Trust.’

Rachel is also supported to work by the Trust and said: ‘I’m happy and glad to attend Pride, I’m part of the LGBQT+ community, I’m happy to be going again this year as I couldn’t attend last year.’

Matt Parrant, Portsmouth Supported Living Manager at Minstead Trust, said: ‘We’re proud to stand with our LGBTQ+ community at Portsmouth Pride. Many of the people we support are part of this community and deserve to be celebrated just as they are. Pride is about visibility, connection and joy and that’s what we’re all about at Minstead Trust.’

Join us at Portsmouth Pride and be part of a future that includes everyone.
