The legend of Bloodstone – murder mystery evening

Join us for a 1940s themed murder mystery fundraiser at Elmers Court Hotel in Lymington with a two-course dinner from the hotel’s banquet menu included to raise funds and support people with learning disabilities.
The Blood Stone, is an ancient site where Uther the Unfortunate lay slain in the 9th Century. Now centuries later, murder is in the air on the site of this very stone, Bloodstone Castle, with not one, but two, untimely and mysterious deaths to be solved. This 1940’s themed murder mystery is a must for all you budding detectives, join friends and family, be quick witted and ready to piece together the clues, brought to you by Organise Events Ltd.
Please book your whole group in one order to ensure you are sat together.
Watch live actors play out scenes, whilst you enjoy dinner served at your table. Interrogate the characters and uncover the clues, before offering your solutions to solve the crime. A great fun night, come with friends, colleagues or even alone, you are sure to have a great time.
The maximum per table is 10, so if you are booking for a group, you can book up to 10 people if you wish to be seated all together. You are welcome to book groups of fewer than 10 people and you may be joined by another group at your table.
Dress: 1940s era costumes are entirely optional
Doors open at 7pm to allow for a 7.30pm start when the fun begins! Your ticket will include a 2-course meal from the hotel’s banquet menu.
Please have all your party’s main menu, desert choices and dietary requirements to hand before booking your tickets. If no dietary requirements please state “none” in box when booking.
Murderous main
- Scottish Lamb Rump, Gratin Potato, green beans, rosemary jus (GF)
- Roasted Cod Loin, Crisp New potatoes, samphire, noilly prat sauce (GF, DF)
- Chick pea and Squash Curry, Braised rice, mango chutney, Homemade flatbreads (VE, DF) and GF if no flatbread
Deathly dessert
- Chocolate Avocado Mousse, chocolate soil and banana chocolate ice cream (VE, DF, GF)
- Baked Apple, sultana and cinnamon relish, whipped custard (VE, GF, DF)
- Honeycomb Cheesecake, new forest honeycomb ice cream (V)

There will be a hotel bar on the night to purchase drinks and coffee.
There will also be a raffle and opportunities to purchase extra clues supporting Minstead Trust, charity 1053319.
