Support Worker

Full-time and part-time hours available (16 -37.5 hours per week)

Flexible shifts over a 24/7 week, 365 days a year (Incl. weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts on a rota basis)

 £12.25 per hour rising to £13.25 per hour, subject to completion of a satisfactory skills assessment after 6 months.

As a Support Worker, you’ll be engaging directly with those we support, inspiring fun and creativity whilst encouraging independence and allowing individuals to live, happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

The role:

  • Building meaningful, trusting relationships with the two individuals you’ll support
  • Encouraging engagement from crafts to gardening, performing arts and wellbeing.
  • Working alongside instructors to plan personalised, engaging activities
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and self-expression

What are we looking for? 

  • Motivated, honest and approachable individuals who are great at building and nurturing relationships.
  • Experience of providing high levels of care and support to those with learning disabilities in a social care setting.
  • Aspirations to develop skills at support worker level and beyond!
  • Flexibility to work shifts 24/7, 365 days a year including weekends and bank holidays as well as sleep in shifts on a rota basis.
  • Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care is desirable but training will be provided.
  • A full UK driving licence with access to a motorised vehicle is essential
