Location: Whitemoor House, Lyndhurst
Salary: £39,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team at Whitemoor House. This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-led organisation and play a key role in delivering outstanding, person-centred support for neuro disabled people.
As Registered Manager, you will provide effective leadership, operational oversight, and regulatory management of the 9-bed service. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality support, positive outcomes for the people we support, and compliance with all regulatory and organisational requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Leadership & Culture
- Promote a positive culture focused on dignity, independence, inclusion, and person-centred outcomes
- Champion co-production by ensuring people we support and their families are actively involved in shaping services
- Support, motivate, and develop team members to achieve high standards of performance
- Foster a culture of openness, accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain registration as the CQC Registered Manager for the service
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, and best practice standards
- Lead audits, quality assurance activities, and service improvement plans
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, incident reporting, and complaint resolution
- Prepare for and lead inspections, audits, and regulatory visits
- Drive quality outcomes with the ambition of achieving and maintaining an excellent service rating.
Person-Centred Service Delivery
- Ensure the people we support remain at the heart of all decision-making
- Oversee high-quality support planning, risk assessments, and outcome reviews
- Promote independence, choice, wellbeing, and community inclusion
- Ensure support is tailored to individual strengths, goals, and aspirations.
People Management
- Develop, and retain a skilled and motivated workforce
- Provide supervision, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with training, qualifications, and workforce development requirements
- Support succession planning and future leadership development.
Operational & Financial Management
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, referrals, admissions, and occupancy.
- Oversee resource management, facilities, and digital systems.
- Manage budgets responsibly and contribute to financial sustainability.
- Lead on emergency responses and business continuity planning
Regional Leadership
- Work collaboratively with regional leadership colleagues
- Contribute to projects, service improvements, and strategic initiatives across the New Forest region
- Support service resilience and business continuity across neighbouring services when required.

About you:
Essential
- Significant management experience within adult social care
- Registered Manager experience
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards
- Experience in safeguarding, risk management, and service improvement
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and operational performance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Commitment to person-centred practice and co-production
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale).
