Teresa’s story

Teresa has made a thoughtful decision to leave a gift in her Will to support people with learning disabilities at Minstead Trust.

‘We have always looked to give to worthwhile causes. Like many, we are asset wealthy, so we hopefully will have something to leave to charity when we pass.  We want to look after our children, but also would like to support and give back to a great cause.  We have looked at other charities, but in Minstead Trust we see the work they do and how worthwhile it is.  They support a group of adults who otherwise may be left with no purpose in life.

‘Minstead Trust gives hope, help and encouragement to achieve.  In turn this brings happiness and a feeling of purpose to those they support.  Seeing the work of Minstead Trust left us in no doubt that this is who we would like to be supporting through a gift in our will.  It was easy to do, leaving a percentage with at maximum level, so we can ensure there is something for our family too.’
