Chief Financial Officer

John joined Minstead Trust as a finance volunteer where he quickly made a significant contribution to the organisation. In 2026, he became Minstead Trust’s first chief financial officer, bringing extensive experience in finance, governance and risk management.

John has held senior finance leadership positions across the commercial sector, including serving as Finance Director for Global Media & Entertainment. He also worked as Head of Risk Management for Global Media & Entertainment (previously know as Capital Radio plc), developing expertise in organisational governance, financial oversight and strategic risk management.

As chief financial officer, John is responsible for leading Minstead Trust’s financial strategy and ensuring the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability. He also oversees enterprise risk management, helping to ensure that the Trust has the systems, controls and assurance processes needed to support its ambitions and deliver strong outcomes for the people it supports.

John is passionate about using sound financial management and effective governance to help organisations achieve lasting social impact and create opportunities for future growth.
