Music lover scoops golden seats

One lucky music fan has landed his very own golden seats to dozens of performances at a popular Totton theatre. Late last year Hanger Farm Arts Centre, a performing arts venue in Totton offered the chance for one lucky winner to win two seats for every performance and show in their January to April season.

Graham Morton from Totton was the lucky winner and was pleasantly surprised to find out he had won. Graham has visited Hanger Farm to see shows on numerous occasions with his wife Carol and their friends, mainly when there are music acts or 1960s/70s tribute shows.

When asked what he enjoys most about attending shows at Hanger Farm Graham, said: ‘This place is superb, I like the intimate atmosphere.’

The next performances that Graham is looking forward to attending are the sold-out shows, The Carpenters Experience and The Ultimate Queen Concert Show.

When not attending shows at Hanger Farm, Graham is a member of Totton Men’s Shed, a sociable organisation for anyone over the age of 18 to meet and explore a range of hobbies, from learning the ukulele to photography and woodwork.

Hanger Farm Arts Centre has a varied and exciting range of performances coming up from comedian Luke Kempner to 1960s tribute act Dusty, Cilla, Lulu and Pet.

The arts centre supports people with learning disabilities to learn work skills that help them live more independent lives. It is run by Minstead Trust, a local charity that supports more than 220 people with learning disabilities.
