You can make a huge difference to our future.

A gift in your Will for Minstead Trust will make a difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities.

Gifts in Wills are an important part of how Minstead Trust is funded and you can support us this way too. When you make or amend your Will, as well as providing for those closest to you such as family and other loved ones, you can also choose to help causes that you love like Minstead Trust.

Your gift will be a future legacy to help the people we support now and in the future to live independent lives and have the help they need to achieve their potential.

Here are some of the ways you can leave a gift in your Will:

Free online Will (Start here)

We are working with Make a Will Online to enable our supporters to create a Will for free. Make a Will Online provide solicitor-checked simple Wills here. Each of their Wills is fully checked by a qualified solicitor. If you have more complex legal needs a simple Will may not be suitable for you.

For example, if you have a large or complicated estate e.g. trust income, property overseas, or dependent relatives, you should speak to a specialist solicitor. If your estate will be subject to inheritance tax (see here), you should also speak to a solicitor.

If you are on strong medication or have concerns about your mental capacity, you should discuss your Will with a solicitor face-to-face.

See a solicitor in person or remotely

If you already have an existing relationship with a solicitor please contact them to ask for your Will to include a gift to us.

If you do not have a solicitor in mind, you can select a solicitor from the Solicitors Regulation Authority website here.

Or, here are a few local firms that could help you and who are offering discounts for Minstead Trust supporters:
